Final Fantasy XI: What is keeping people playing?
I always like to know what MMORPG’s evolve into, after all if you’re one of the multiplayer’s on the game and your shelling out the dough for the subscription fee shouldn’t the game be progressing? Well oh course it should, and if it’s not maybe you might want to rethink your investment. There are some MMORPG’s that break the mold and create loyal fans. These fans are usually rewarded from the games they play with the content they desire, since the fans are now the bread and butter of the games successful run. Final fantasy XI is a massively multiplayer online role playing game that is from Squares,(now Square Enix), successful final fantasy franchise, released in Japan on Sony's PlayStation 2 on May 16, 2002, the PC release for north America in October 28 2003, the playstation 2’s version on march 23, 2004. The Xbox 360 version was released worldwide in April 2006.

The game play has a definite final fantasy flavor to it filled with cinematics and in-depth stories, as well as vast array of creatures and lands to discover. To play the game you will have to have a powerful pc if that is the version you play, and after that the controls are something to get used to.

Playing the final fantasy xi will come down to two components: missions by which the main storyline is told and quest which do not progress the main story but will help you fill your own fantasy world. Missions help out in other ways besides furthering the story line ahead such as to advance in rank, access new areas, and gain new privileges. You may do quests for various rewards and fame. Battles happen in the same realm that you move around in, which is a switch from most other final fantasy game where you switch in a battle realm for fights.

The economy is set up by means of final fantasy’s fiction based money called gil. The FFXI Gil has a large player based economy with a lot of inter actions with auction houses, that are in every major city in the games world. There are certain economic controls to manage the gil flow, they are in the forms of taxes and fees. They include taxes on items sold and or put up for auction, there are also fees for item storage and transportation, these gil sinks remove gil from the economy to prevent inflation. Square enix has stated that the trade of gil for real currency of the games terms of services for FFXI, in 2006 square found a ground people that had found away to generate gil in the game and the trade it for real money, which then drove gil prices on items up, in response 700 accounts were banned and 300 billion FFXI gil was removed from circulation.

Majority of the gil that were banned was acquired through the use of what is known as dupe or duping. It is the use of an exploit or a bug in the game that causes currencies such as gil, gold, plat, platinum or even items of high end value to duplicate. By acquiring currencies using cheating methods has caused alot of stress to players. Thus why most prestigious gold sellers all use safe natural farming methods.

Can Someone Make Real Money From World of Warcraft Gold?
To a gamer there are really two giant obstacles to leap over, one is having the money to play the games you want to play and the other is finding the time to play what you want, and sometime these problems collide and make things even more difficult. I mean if you don’t have a job you don’t have money needed to play the games but on the other hand you have a job but you’re at it so much making money you don’t have the time you want to relax and play what you want to play.

Massively multiplayer online role playing games(or MMORPG), add a bigger hop in the money problem , because many of them also require a subscription fee. Now most gamers, including myself, believe that the monthly fee is worth it, because the game is constantly changing and evolving almost as much as your character is. The only problem is now your shelling out even more dough for world of warcraft. Yes WoW, world of warcraft or WOW, is the “drug” of choice for many video gamers everywhere and I mean everywhere. Having up to 10 million subscribers this game is huge. Now, how does one who obliviously through no fault of their own gotten hooked to WoW deal with the two big problems? Well, I believe to every evil there is a good, or to every negative there is a positive, and that positive it forms of money and play time are just that money and play time. Making money from the gold you earn in the game.

How do you get money from world of warcraft gold? All you have to do is play and earn gold once you have a good amount of it, you announce that you will be selling it for real cash. What gold is used for in WOW is everything, or nearly everything. You use gold to buy mounts to ride weapons to fight with or even powers to use. You could walk around fighting if you wanted but you better not get hit because fixing your armor cost too. You go around asking people to pvp with you, which is player vs. player, but with no powers you’d most likely get ripped to shreds. Gold in the game is very important so important the game has professions for your character, which is a job for you character in the game you are playing in order to earn even more money.

To my knowledge there is no law that will punish or protect you from making money from handing over fictional money from one person to another, so if you are a world of warcraft citizen, and you’re getting started for cash, who knows maybe you, can get paid for doing what you really love, playing a video game.

If the player spends the time playing the game thus creating the character and acquiring all the materials such as gold, platinum or whatever the currency may be for the time they should be entitled to the right to pass along their earnings to another player. Even if the player was not be able to physically own what they earned, they have at least earned the right to sell their services such as farming gold, power leveling and perhaps even wow questing.

Age of Conan Hyborian Adventure Game Might Just be the MMORPG for you
Fantasy lovers can rejoice now that Robert E. Howard's Conan the Cimmerian, has been made into the next MMO, If you haven't seen Arnold's effort with a bad wig acting like the barbarian, well you to understand that Conan is a heroic barbarian fantasy with brutal fights, great swordplay and sorcery, filled with the epic lands of what is called Hyboria.

This is a new MMORPG game, Age of Conan Hyborian Adventure, and it captures the spirit and uniquness of all of the realm that Howards created in an interesting and amazing way. The Age of Conan Hyborian Adventure game is for the matureplayer. It offers a very imaginative world that also excels with amazing and brilliant exploration. A new to MMOs, the combat system which is a great change of pace to the more traditional auto combat many MMORPG fantasy games are used to. The fights in Age of Conan Hyborian Adventure will have to use several of the number keys on the keyboard to aim or swing in the correct direction. Monsters can successfully shield themselves in many different ways, so you will have to learn to aim for their weak spots. Your avatar can as well place shields around his body, giving Age of Conan Hyborian Adventure a more action based kind of feeling making you feel more reward when you loot the NPCs for their gold. The higher your character becomes in levels the more drawn in you'll become as new and exciting combos will pop up. It is easy to do several two hit combos in your sleep but as for a four keystroke hit right in a row the game will have your total attention or your death. Doing the combos correctly will ultimatly result in a crushing and killing blow, a gruesome excellence that is quite rewarding.

You will find that the Age of Conan quests are very well written and appealing; you start off in single quest mode untill level twenty which also is another difference that sets age of Conan apart. The quest stories available in this game are certain to entertain, with many quests available that are amusing and give you a great insight into hyboria's back story. Larger parts of the quest are very funny and given out by wacky characters. You might miss out if you like to skip through to just to get into the action

The graphics of this game are those of concentrated beauty, the background sound excel the game into an epic feel of adventure, with music of a very grand scale fantasy. The down side to this game that the fact that it requires a powerful computer in order to run it correctly. There are pixel shader glitch's and also clipping issues, which makes a visit into the more cities that are highly populated a little bit more of an issue then some cities with lower populations.

Age of Conan has four types of Hyborian currency: tin, copper, silver and gold. One hundred of each currency represents one unit of the next currency. Early in the game you will earn your currency primarily from questing and killing NPCs you probly won't see too much gold though. Later at around level 40 you will also be able to earn money by crafting and selling your goods which will bring in the gold more swiftly. Designated Traders will be available for you to trade and sell you gold, items and equipment, as well as to send in-game mail to send gold, items and what not, there is also storage for your wares. Additionally, there is a Trade Chat Channel which can be used to try to sell your items for a better price of gold than you would by selling off to a city vendor.

Overall Age of Conan Hyborian Adventure is a great online game for adults. Although the large amount of both blood and gory could be a huge turn off when it comes to parents purchasing for kids and should try it out them self's before actually handing it off to them. This is a pretty good game that ahs the ability to stand on it's own when you measure it up with the top MMO's. The game is quite original, although this game does slightly feel unfinished since you can not exercise your characters complete skills when it comes down to non-combating. There are also a variety of glitches that many players will have the ability to get past but some players might avoid the game entirely because of. Is this an online game that is worth devoting time into? If you own a good and advanced computer that has the required equipment, then you might find game to be among the very best MMORPG's out there.

Warhammer Online Collector's Edition Out of Stock
That's right folks, EA Mythics new game Warhammer Online Gold has sizzled out of the stores in EB Games and Gamestop. EA has only released approximately 60,000 copies of Warhammer Collector's Edition. That means only about 60 thousand open beta accounts were given to those who has preordered.

In addition to access to open beta, those who have preordered are also in the headstart program. Yes be one of the very first to access War Gold rvr system before the new recruits come in. You will also receive some gifts from Mythic as well which includes some pve items and a neat ability to rejuvenate yourself.

For those who has missed their opportunity to preorder you can alternatively visit craigslist.org or ebay and hope someone has extras or decided to not play. I've found a few available for sale on ebay for close to $100. If you're a true gamer and haven't preordered, hurry in now before the prices on it goes even higher. Rumor has it that open beta should begin late September to Early October and the final release date sometime be around late October to November.

AoC Review
Age of Conan (AoC) is a barbaric fantasy-themed MMORPG developed by Funcom. The game brings players to experience live violent from the Hyborian Age, a fantasy setting created by Robert E. Howard. Amidst the chaotic blood-bath surroundings, players can buy aoc cdkey right now from funcom.

There is a civilized system of commerce and currency.Players in Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures bargain for goods and services using pieces of gold, silver, copper and tin as their median of trade. As players struggle to become the legend of the Hyborian Age, the wealth in gold is not a factor to be neglected.

Even though the Hyborian Age is the age of chaos and disorder. Players still cannot obtain everything they want through a mindless slaughtering alone. This is where Age of Conan gold comes to its part. Four types of currency are used in Age of Conan gold, silver, copper, and tin. A hundred units of the lesser currency are added up to one unit of the higher type.

Players spend AoC gold as a median of trade to purchase their desired pieces of weapons and equipment or necessary hunting supplies. They can earn AoC gold through various options from fulfilling NPC or perhaps other player requests to hunting a careless adventurer for valuables. With some good amount of Age of Conan gold as a starting fund players can pick up a trade skill and combine useless raw materials into something other players want to pay for. They then, sell these products directly to other players in exchange of AoC gold or place them on the tradeposts and wait until they are sold.

Age of Conan players are always in need of gold to purchase better pieces of equipment. Most people who can afford spending their time in game can try and earn gold by themselves while the rest seek to buy AoC gold over the internet. Although Funcom will do anything to prevent gold sellers from obtaining and distributing precious AoC gold to these deep-pocket players.

Zarsalesem & Reese
Have you ever heard of the MMORPG gaming phenomenon known as Multi-Boxing? Probably, but if not, I’ll explain it anyway. Multi-boxing is a not-so-commonly utilized technique whereby a given player with large amounts of disposable income, or at least a willingness to give up eating for a few months, can buy multiple accounts for any given MMORPG, endeavoring to use his advantage in numbers to boost what is technically a solo-experience.

By possessing multiple accounts this player can then run with a dedicated heal-bot for his warrior, or perhaps a shaman for the windfury totem as his rogue whirlwinds through the opposition, either way it’s definitely a benefit, but only to those capable of effectively controlling and monitoring both characters at once.

Many players find themselves able to run two accounts at the same time, at least skill wise, but most prefer to run with only one, as to avoid spending overly large sums of cash on a game, or perhaps because they find it detracts from the fun of the game.

Either way, for quite some time I’ve been running two account, sometimes in tandem, other times to check the auction house and earn cash (in-game that is) while leveling up a new alt or doing battlegrounds. However, I couldn’t help but become acutely interested at the tales of players running not two, nor even three, but five accounts at once.

Imagine an entire team of characters at your fingertips! the possibilities are endless, and so I set out to research this subject myself, and now being in the possession of five accounts, I’ll post how I managed to make it work, and how you might as well.

Five-boxing

Notice how all are gnomes, this allowed for ease of teaming right from the start, another thing is that I decided to make them all warlocks, a ranged caster class being supremely easier to configure as opposed to melee, and by making them the same class, macro creation and control was again far easier than if I played with a mixture of mages, warlocks, and priests - Although I will try this at some point.

Five-boxing

Through some configuration I was able to, as you can obviously see in this picture, connect all five WoW clients into the same keystrokes, having the other four clients mimic the button presses of my primary character, being Zarsalesem in this case. Although I am using one recently upgraded and juiced up PC for this process, other Multi-boxers have utilized multiple PC’s to run everywhere from 5 to 25 characters at once, however I don’t think I’m ready for that step just yet.

Five-boxing

Here you get a view from one of the other WoW clients, my minion characters utilize Targeting and Assist macro’s to cast all their spells, making certain that they follow my lead as opposed to randomly assaulting nearby wild-life as they did in my first test. Also you’ll note that all four minion characters are on follow, this is done so that I can use the mouse keys run function to move without triggering the minion clients to do so as well, using WASD would result in all the characters running off in random directions, not very condusive to my purposes.

Five-boxing

Finally, the combat strategy. The slight difficulties of five-boxing were that I had to lead all four other minion clients around on a /follow leash, and since spell-casting requires you to face the target, I was sometimes in situations where the other clients were unable to target a monster, got stuck on various rocks, tree’s, etc. and various other such difficulties.

All things considered, the five-boxing was certainly a fun experience, making a level grind I’ve been through all too many times once more an intriguing challenge. Perhaps I’ll update this specific subject at some time soon, either way, this should show you in a fairly simple manner just how it all works.

I’ll list of the requirements one last time, Five WoW gold accounts (Or however many you plan to run,) a copy of either Keyclone, Synergy, Autohotkey, or any keystroke copying program that suits your needs, and finally a computer, or computers, that can run all the clients smoothly, lag is a very bad thing when running five characters at once.
